AS FATE HAVE IT by Egbelade Onifade

On my way to world  of livelihood
After cock  crow
Before the sun  begin  to rise
Pessimistic I am
Solitude is the order  of the day.

Appearance  of Awelewa far away
I feel exuberant with  the beauty  of her skin
that glows like NÍNÍ.

Lymphatic with the shaking  of her waist full of IYÙN beads.
With her stepping like her Angel .

Eyes  to eyes  to break  the nut of heart
Words  of my heart I pour
In along with facial  expressions.

My finger moves slowly  to my mouth  full of regrets
Her, describing  how opulence  has eaten  deep  in me
Sanguine  I stand  in  the road path.

As my great effort for survival
Turns 0
As my great effort  to have what I love
Being chattered
Lost in thought with folded  arms drives me home of sorrow.
